How we work

We would rather make less, and get it right.

Each piece is made in runs of eighty or fewer, then checked, pressed and packed by hand before it is dispatched. We keep the release small on purpose: fewer styles, better cloth, patterns we refine rather than replace.

It is a slow way to work. It is also the only way we know to make a silk dress that still falls correctly after five years of wear.
